We have visited this establishment twice. The food was unremarkable the first time and the staff weren't friendly. The second time the staff preemptively told us off just in case our children did something naughty. They came out and immediately told us not to use the park, (there was no sign indicating the park is not allowed) then when we went in to eat lunch we carefully removed our shoes and wipes any mud from them, we went to have lunch. Our eldest daughter was keeping an eye on the two year old in the soft play area. She is a quiet and responsible ten year old. We were once again approached and told that if they see any quick movement by her she would be asked to leave. By this point we were so tired of being told off - before we had committed any crimes, and nobody was polite or kind, that we just walked quietly went to our shoes, put them on and left. Never have I entered an establishment and been made to feel like such an imposition and inconvenience by the staff for simply bringing them business.We love to visit new places, make new friends and shop local and this is the first bad review I have ever left. Truly a sad place.
I visited the Mile Farm Shop to use the photo book service. The young male member of staff who helped me with this was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, patient, polite and courteous. Great customer service. Thank you so much.
Good for gifts and the essentials, milk ect. Nice staff.
Great farm shop just outside Pocklington with a variety of gifts and food supplies. Also has a small camp site to the rear with good clean facilities.
Excellent site owners very obliging could not do anymore for us had a visit from daughter and granddaughters which my husband informed reception they were coming ate lunch in cafe which was also very good had a lovely three nights stay will be returning
